Gerflor’s Smart Fix 2 mm PUM underlay is a specialised type of underlay designed for glued vinyl flooring, offering optimum support and protection for your floor surface. This underlay is made from a material called Polyurethane-Mineral (PUM) and has a total thickness of 2 mm.
The underlay comes in a 1 x 7.5 m format and is suitable for underfloor heating thanks to its low thermal resistance of 0.01 m² K/W. The CS compressive load-bearing capacity of the Gerflor Smart Fix 2 mm PUM underlay is an excellent 45 t/m². This underlay is not only a practical addition to flooring systems but also provides a significant reduction in impact noise of 16 dB.
This underlay is the ideal solution for adhesive-free installation. The top layer of the underlay, which is covered with a film, becomes self-adhesive once the film is removed. Simple, adhesive-free installation means greater convenience for the floor installer, as the underlay can be used immediately.
It is also easy to remove – the subfloor remains clean and there is no need to scrape off adhesive to restore the subfloor. Supplied in a roll.
