SikaBond Rapid DPM is a single-component primer for floors designed for use with SikaBond® adhesives; it is solvent-free, cures rapidly and also acts as a moisture barrier. It is based on a polyurethane resin. It is used to prime, strengthen and seal both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. Immediately after application, prime with silica sand.
Rapid DPM primer is designed for moisture-sensitive substrates (such as chipboard and OSB boards), cement and xylolite screeds, concrete, non-absorbent and absorbent substrates, for strengthening cement screeds and surfaces with residues of old adhesives.
It can also be used as a barrier against residual moisture in the substrate (PLEASE NOTE: it is not intended for insulation against hydrostatic pressure) and to seal increased residual moisture in cementitious substrates up to 4 % CM.
Its advantage is very rapid curing (approx. 45 minutes at +20 °C and 50% relative humidity). It is compatible with the cement-based productsSika® Level, Sikafloor® Level and Sika®. Supplied in 5-litre containers.
