Murexin D495 is an easy-to-apply fibre-reinforced dispersion adhesive for bonding floor coverings to a damp subfloor. It is solvent-free and has low emissions. It is particularly suitable where there are high demands on the dimensional stability of the bonded covering. It can be used indoors for bonding designer vinyl, PVC and CV coverings of all types in strips and tiles, rubber in strips and tiles up to 3.2 mm thick (thicker than this by consultation with the supplier), and polyolefin flooring (chlorine-free). Murexin’s D495 adhesive is suitable for underfloor heating and use with furniture on castors. The adhesive is also suitable for commercial/industrial premises with occasional pallet truck traffic, provided that a suitable levelling compound has been used. It can also be used on surfaces exposed to intense sunlight through glazed areas, provided it is thoroughly bonded to a damp bed. In the event of extreme heat exposure, solar radiation or high mechanical loads (e.g. forklift trucks) and in demanding humidity conditions, it is necessary to use Murexin two-component PU adhesive 2K PU 330 or X-Bond MS-K 499 adhesive. The adhesive is supplied in 14-kilogram packs.
