Murexin’s reinforcement and separation fabric reduces tension between the subfloor and the wear layer of parquet and tiles, particularly on problematic subfloors. In interiors, it acts as a reinforcing and separating underlay beneath solid and pre-finished parquet.
It is suitable for all mature substrates ready for installation, as well as for substrates with increased moisture content (up to a maximum of 3.5% CM) following the application of the Murexin vapour barrier (2K EP 170, PU 5 Express, MS-X3) and subsequent bonding with two-component PU adhesives.
This fabric is specifically designed for weak, less stable substrates, chipboard substrates, dry screeds or when renovating older floors. It is also suitable as a reinforcing and separating underlay beneath ceramic tiles and natural stone.
The fabric is bonded into a flexible adhesive mortar and ‘separates’ the laid tiles from the substrate, thereby reducing the transfer of stress. Supplied in rolls of 50 m².
