Gerflor VIRTUO: A new era of versatility

And we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce our newest family member! For over 80 years, GERFLOR has been one of France’s leading brands and a well-established name in the high-quality flooring market. They design and manufacture innovative, decorative and environmentally friendly products. And in collaboration with GERFLOR, we are bringing the VIRTUO collection to the Slovak market.

This collection heralds a new era of versatility. Discover the possibilities of floor coverings and accessories that allow you to design every home exactly as you wish. And according to your needs, too. Let’s take a look at what VIRTUO has to offer in terms of mix-and-match options.

The VIRTUO collection for an exceptional and beautiful home!

✧ 32 designs ✯ 10 different formats ✦ 2 wear classes

Virtuo by Gerflor offers beautiful vinyl and composite floor coverings in various thicknesses and finishes. Choose the option that best meets your needs and preferences, or combine them for maximum durability where you need it most. The collection features two main types of flooring:

★ RCB composite flooring offers dimensional stability and durability, as well as a pleasantly quiet surface thanks to its integrated acoustic underlay. It is exceptionally comfortable to walk on

★ Glued vinyl flooring is the ideal choice for damp rooms thanks to its water resistance; due to its low thickness, it quickly conducts heat from underfloor heating and is also suitable for commercial premises.

And what’s the advantage? As the slogan ‘a new era of combinability’ suggests, you’ll find the same designs across both types of flooring in the VIRTUO range. But the possibilities for combination don’t end there.

Create your dream home

Gerflor thanks to the VIRTUO collection, which allows you to tailor your space to your needs. In addition to the flooring types mentioned, you can choose from various wear classes and different formats. There are large-format planks as well as the popular herringbone pattern. Yes, with selected designs, the VIRTUO collection allows you to use six ‘different’ floor types – yet all in the same design.

If you’re wondering what the point of this is, then it’s time to take a look at the individual collections within VIRTUO. Two types of flooring, two load-bearing classes, various formats. Where you prioritise comfort and design, you can opt for a more expensive floor; conversely, where durability is required, you’ll choose a different type with a higher load class. Areas subject to less wear and tear can be fitted with a lower load class. But let’s illustrate this with an example.

What might a sample room look like? For example, like this:

• Virtuo 55 Herringbone Rigid Acoustic living room – a composite floor in a herringbone pattern with a higher load-bearing class, which will impress every visitor
• Kitchen and hallway: Virtuo 55 – glued vinyl with a higher load-bearing class, with no expansion gaps or transitions thanks to the glued installation
• Upstairs bedroom: Virtuo 30 Herringbone Rigid Acoustic – the same composite flooring as in the living room, but with a lower wear class, so you’ll save money
• Children’s bedrooms: Virtuo 55 – glued vinyl, higher load-bearing class and durability
• Study and transitions between rooms: Virtuo 30 – glued vinyl, lower wear class; you can connect it to the children’s room without expansion joints

With this solution, you save money, refine the design and, at the same time, ensure the whole house is harmonised in a single design. The range also includes designer skirting boards and profiles in the same floor design, as well as a self-adhesive underlay for the simplest possible installation.
