The SILENZIO EASY 2 mm underlay guarantees easy installation, a simple click-fit system and easy cutting. The underlay is 2 millimetres thick and is suitable for underfloor heating. It is designed for use under floating floors – laminate, timber and vinyl on an HDF core.
It offers low thermal resistance of just 0.057 m²K/W. Its compressive load capacity is 11 t/m² and it reduces impact noise by 18 dB. The SILENZIO EASY 2 mm underlay is made from High Flexible Polystyrene (HFPS) and, according to the manufacturer’s description, is comparable to XPS foam.
The underlay for floating floors comes in an interlocking format with a total length of 12 m and a width of 1.25 m. The accordion-fold underlay is folded every 25 centimetres. It has the highest possible rating for indoor air emissions: A+.
