Bona R848T wood flooring adhesive is a version of Bona R848 with higher viscosity in accordance with ISO 17178. A single-component silane-based adhesive which provides better stability of the joints and rapid development of bonding strength. It can be used for bonding multi-layer timber floors as well as dimensionally stable solid timber elements, such as parquet strips.
The risk
of voids forming is minimised with this adhesive. Stress on the substrate is reduced. The use of a primer is generally not necessary. The adhesive cures through a chemical reaction with moisture.
