Product description
For those who want the most natural feel of real wood and a quiet floor, including the underlay, we present our new product AFIRMAX: the LEGNAR Acoustic collection. The advantage is that, thanks to the integrated underlay, you no longer need to buy a separate underlay. The flooring is also suitable for underfloor heating.
The new LEGNAR Acoustic has a total thickness of 5.3 millimetres, including the underlay. The attractive finish features a realistic wood texture that perfectly replicates the wood’s grain. Furthermore, it features a unique four-sided bevelled edge, inspired by the natural, smooth joints between wooden planks.
AFIRMAX specialises in composite flooring using modern flooring technologies. Its portfolio includes SPC composite flooring based on HD Mineral Core technology, which makes the flooring exceptionally durable.
AFIRMAX’s range offers a selection of flooring in various designs such as wood, stone and concrete, so there is something to suit everyone’s style. AFIRMAX is a harmonious blend of nature and modern technology. In addition to flooring in standard, tile and large-format sizes, a new herringbone pattern has been added. The brand offers matching skirting boards, underlay and flooring accessories.

Yes, this more expensive method of installation is recommended by manufacturers. Full-surface bonding is a more reliable method, as the floor does not require expansion joints to accommodate thermal expansion and can be laid over a certain area without the need for transition strips.
A composite floor may or may not contain a vinyl wear layer. A floor with a vinyl top layer is also essentially a composite. Thanks to the SPC or HDF core board, it takes on the desired properties of these materials – greater dimensional stability and less susceptibility to showing unevenness in the subfloor.

They are water-resistant, and the surface offers good durability; at the same time, composite flooring is pleasant to the touch and comfortable to walk on. They are quiet. They are an excellent solution even for demanding rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens.
No, laminate flooring is subject to more rigorous durability testing; nevertheless, composite flooring usually offers a high level of durability. In exchange for slightly lower durability compared to laminate, however, you gain comfort when walking, a warmer surface and water resistance.
If your composite flooring does not have an integrated underlay, you will need to install one. If you are laying the flooring on a substrate containing mineral components, such as a cement screed or gypsum levelling compound, from which additional moisture may evaporate, you will also need a vapour barrier.

A composite floor consists of several layers – a wear layer, a decorative layer, a core layer and, in some cases, an integrated underlay layer. Most commonly, the core board in composite flooring is made from natural HDF or the popular SPC (a composite plastic), which makes the flooring strong and more dimensionally stable. Composite flooring with an SPC core board is robust and suitable even for more demanding, damp rooms – thanks to its 100% water resistance.

Dobrý deň, mal by som záujem o kúpu vinylovej podlahy, väčšina podláh vrátane tejto má integrovanú podložku. Je možné pripadne lepšie dať pod takúto podlahu ešte nejakú podložku? Ak áno, ponúkate nejakú? Ďakujem

Dobrý deň, nie, pod podlahu s integrovanou podložkou už nedávame ďalšiu podložku. Výrobcovia to vyslovene zakazujú. Ďakujeme.
